  • TRADITIONAL STRUCTURES MADE WITH GYPSUM PILLARS AT RINCÓN DE ADEMUZ,

    Research conducted for the XVI Traditional Architecture Workshop at Rincón de Ademuz organized by Fernando Vegas and Camilla Miletus, and the following weeks with Carles Grau, Maria Diodato, Vincenzina La Spina and Lidia Garcia. The subject of study was the construction of traditional gypsum pillars .
     

    During the workshop, the team set researched about with measurements, pictures, samples and descriptions form pillars, as well as interviews with locals. 96 pillars were documented with data sheets.
     

    Back in Valencia, all data were processed and ordered. After the analysis, a constructive hypothesis was formulated, based on data obtained during the workshop and subsequent research.
